Product Overview
This Sun Star TEFC motor is a three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor with IP55 protection rating — completely dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. The totally enclosed design prevents contaminants from reaching the stator winding and rotor, while the external fan mounted on the non-drive end shaft provides forced-air cooling over the finned motor body.

Standard TEFC motor manufacturing follows our established 12-step process with additional emphasis on dynamic balancing. The rotor is balanced in two planes to ISO 1940 G2.5 grade using our computerised balancing machine.

Installation Guidelines
- Mount on a flat, rigid baseplate using all foot bolts — tighten to recommended torque values
